I have never been disappointed with Central Cinema. The food is great, the service is top notch and the movies are always fun....well...the ones I go to are fun! The movie selection is a matter of taste... I love this place. Really! |

Central Cinema is the best movie spot in town. Regularly running oldies but goodies, independent limited release films and campy goodness, I find myself here at least twice a month for a show. I love a movie I can shout at! Having an intermission is something I wish more theaters would adopt. Seating consists of booths in the front and study hall style chairs (complete with fold out little tabletops) in the upper rows. The beer selection is good as is the food. It has multiple vegetarian options, very solid pizza and I'm in love with the nutritional yeast popcorn. I've found the service to be very awesome every time I've gone. They're very helpful and kind, especially when you maybe shouldn't have had that one last delicious stout. |

Take a few friends! A pitcher of beer, popcorn covered in brewer's yeast, and tasty food. Do you like packing in with strangers like sardines? Cool, don't go here. Totally worth it |

| I can't believe I've lived in the Central District for almost two years and I just discovered this gem last week!! A perfect date destination and super fun to go with friends. I love the old-timey cartoons and little documentaries that they play before and after the show. | |

We love CC, too, and Kevin & Kate's commitment to the neighborhood and Clean Greens. The food and service keep improving. I like the blue plate special: nice add. Lots of choices! I put in movie requests often. Tell Kevin what movies you'd like to see. He'll tell why he can or can't get a particular movie. Who knew the regs were so complicated? Yo. |

We go here all the time -- the movies are great and the food keeps getting better (along with improved service). I really enjoy chatting with Kevin about the movie selections. Everyone in the neighborhood should make this their regular movie choice. I'm glad to see it doing so well! |

| Where else can you watch an eclectic independent film, while at the same time eating a wonderful pizza margherita and downing a few glasses of Mac & Jack's African Amber. Great food, great service, interesting concept, and an impressive beer/wine selection. This place is awesome! | |

| You can't beat Central Cinema for a comfy home away from home. My wife and I rented out the space this past weekend for our sons first birthday and it was amazing. Kevin and his wife and son were out in full force to serve us great food and drinks. It's such a homey place and our family and friends said they'll be back next time to catch a film. Thanks Kevin. :) | |
