Where has our sunny August gone?   Here's the scoop from the streets of the East Precinct:

8:50AM - 2400 E. Lake Washington Blvd. - Theft - A tenant says that his landlord came into his unit and took something
9:31AM - 4300 Brooklyn NE - Robbery - At a u-district WAMU. Suspect is a black male who left out of the south entrance
10:26AM - Madison and Summit - Disturbance - Intoxicated transient making threats and harassing people at the bus stop.
12:44PM - 1100 20th Ave E - Alarm - Residential alarm. A female is on site but doesn't have the code
1:48PM - Broadway & Jefferson - Suspicious Circumstance - Two males looking into vehicles parked in a Diamond lot and harassing other customers as they try to park. Two black males, 30s, one with a patriotic red white & blue jacket
2:21PM - 1700 33rd Ave - Possible Burglary - Homeowner arrived to find a broken window. She is waiting for police to enter the property.
2:59PM - 1201 3rd Ave - Alarm - Silent hold-up alarm at a WAMU
3:09PM - 900 27th Ave - Theft - A man says that a juvenile neighbor in a notorious house has stolen his grandson's necklace.
3:39PM - 10th & Weller - Car Prowl - Police are out with a possible car prowler
3:41PM - 1102 23rd Ave - Disturbance - A man is in front of the .99 cent store yelling at store owners and at passers-by. Black male, 60s 5'5", black hat, brown jacket, blue jeans
3:46PM - 14th S. & S. Jackson - Accident - Car vs. bicycle accident with injuries
3:53PM - 20th & E. Madison - - A person is camped out in a van behind Mt. Zion. They're burning incense and being noisy, and it's an ongoing problem. Vehicle is a white ford van (Gypsies!)
4:11PM - 300 E. Roy - Burglary - Residnets came home to find some things moved around in their apartment, believe they hear somone still in a back room
4:21PM - 2700 11th Ave E. - Suspicious Circumstance - Caller thought a door-to-door magazine salesman was up to no good, but didn't specify the details of why. Black male, 30s, 6', medium build, beige jacket, shorts
4:25PM - 400 35th Ave - Alarm - Audible alarm at a resident on a door
4:53PM - 2400 E. Miller - Suspicious Circumstance - A suspicious woman is prowling around the porches and yards of houses on the block, going door to door. Black female, late teens, slim build, puffy coat, blue jeans
