It's Friday!  Here's the scoop:

10:54AM - 1400 34th Ave - Alarm - Audible burglar alarm
10:55AM - 218 Broadway E. - Welfare Check - Man passed out with a beer next to him
11:05AM - 23rd & E. Union - Welfare Check - Officer flagged down about a man lying on the ground. Citizen says they're not sure if he's breathing or not. Update: Officer finds him semi-conscious but breathing, but he's been laying in the sun for a while and is drooling
11:22AM - 1600 14th Ave - Narcotics Activity - 4 males using drugs on the east side of the street
12:08PM - 300 17th Ave - Burglary - Caller was outside for about 10 minutes, then came back in and found things missing
12:09PM - 1400 34th Ave - Alarm - Audible burglar alarm at a business
12:15PM - 16th & E. Jefferson - Disturbance - Male and female are arguing at a bus stop. She was hitting him earlier
12:16PM - 2051 E. Madison - Hit & Run - Vehicle hit a parked car and kept going. Suspect vehicle is a white Dodge 4-door with a California plate
12:18PM - 16th & E. Union - Narcotics Activity - Male selling on the corner
12:31PM - 14th & E. Harrison - Assault - Man seen hitting a female. He left in a light blue olds
12:35PM - 1365 11th Ave - Fight Disturbance - Two groups seen fighting and arguing at Cal Anderson Park. Caller heard them make mention of knives, but no weapons seen so far. 2 white males and 1 black male
1:17PM - 1700 17th Ave - Assault - Seattle Housing Authority staff was assaulted by a man. They're trying to detain him outside the building until police arrive.
3:15PM - 24th & E. John - Disturbance - Witnesses saw a man trying to pull a woman out of a car. Police are pulling them over to investigate. Black male, 50s, black female, 20s
3:39PM - 2000 E. Lynn St. - Alarm - Audible residential alarm. Update: There's a housekeeper inside. No word if they inventoried the silverware just in case
4:04PM - 555 16th Ave - Disturbance - A man "is not following the rules and needs to be removed" from Seattle Medical & Rehab. The man is known to police and has warrants.
4:22PM - 1800 S. Main - Disturbance - Complainant heard a man at Pratt Park yelling at his girlfriend and threaten to kill another person. Later a woman called in and said she was struggling with someone (?)
4:23PM - 100 26th Ave - Suspicious Circumstance - Caller thinks that two men sitting in a car are casing the area for burglaries
4:24PM - 1500 19th Ave - Disturbance - A man is yelling out in the street. Black male, 30-40. Several callers have reported it
5:05PM - 1600 18th Ave - Family Disturbance - Complainant is arguing with her daughter
5:17PM - 16th & E. Yesler - Hit & Run - Offending vehicle is a maroon Mini-van left northbound, the eastbound on the next block
5:34PM - 1900 43rd Ave E. - Pre-DUI - A very drunk man asked a Parking Enforcement Officer (also known as a Paul Unit) to help him find his car. "He can't even walk straight, like he's about to fall over"
5:46PM - Broadway & E. Pine - Theft - Man grabbed a woman's purse and ran southbound. Black male in his 20s, tan hat, white shirt, kaki shorts. The victim is chasing the suspect
5:54PM - 2301 S. Jackson - Shoplifting - Person in custody at the Wilted Apple
5:56PM - E. Pine & Boylston - Accident - Motorcycle vs. vehicle accident, with injuries. Victim is alert & conscious and moving around
6:23PM - 1630 11th Ave - Assault - Man was hit by another man in Cal Anderson Park, causing him to fall and hit his head. Medics are in route

I know it is far afield from your usual realm but do you know anything about an arrest on Prospect between 11th and 12th (across from Volunteer Park) at about 8:30 this morning? There were 2 or 3 police cars and they were hand-cuffing a dude who seemed like he had been a passenger in a jeep cherokee. Didn't get the chance to gawk long enough to figure out what the deal was and didn't see anything about it on the 911 website. Thanks.

Sorry- that arrest coincided with my Friday gym schedule, so I missed it on the scanner. We'll keep an eye out for the police report

Thanks! It looked a little undercover-ish (based on many years of Law & Order) so it sparked a little more nosey interest than usual.

I am a housekeeper and I resent your comment about counting the silver. Dipshits who leave their alarms on don't get any more of MY excellent service, and I am thoroughly weary of people, some who make a lot less an hour than I do, suspecting me of dishonesty. As to the Red Apple...I suppose you prefer Safeway, because big national chains who routinely treat their employees like crap are SO much more Yuppie.

The reason the red wilted apple is sooo bad is becaues when it was good the owners would not pay its union staff what they asked for and they striked and eventually left. What you have now is the corporate culture result. It is a good idea to KNOW rather than assume. The first three letters in assume are ASS.
